Soslu Mısır, or coated fried corn, is one of the most beloved snack foods in Turkey — enjoyed by people of all ages, from 7 to 70. Known for its rich flavor and crispy texture, it pairs especially well with cashews, salted peanuts, roasted chickpeas, and raisins, making it a common component of cocktail nut mixes. Corn is widely grown in Turkey, especially in the Black Sea, Mediterranean, and Marmara regions, and its use as a snack base continues to expand thanks to its nutritional value and versatility.
Recognizing the growing demand for coated corn snacks, Murat and his business partner — both experienced entrepreneurs in the Turkish snack industry — set out to develop their own Soslu Mısır product line. After researching several suppliers online, they decided to visit China and evaluate production lines in person.
In June 2025, they visited our Joyshine factory, where they were welcomed by our sales manager Julk. We gave them a full tour of our production workshop and demonstrated the complete fried corn snack production line, including the continuous frying system, seasoning unit, and automatic packing machine. We also explained the production flow step by step: soaking → dewatering → frying → oil removal → oil spraying → powder seasoning → cooling → packaging.
After the visit, we sat down to review the proposal in detail. Murat quickly confirmed the order, and the project moved forward without delay.
This customized line is designed to produce coated, crispy fried corn snacks in a variety of flavors, including chili, cheese, and tomato. The final products are targeted for retail distribution in convenience stores and supermarkets across Turkey.
Later, while the line was still in production, Murat contacted us again to place an additional order — this time for a vegetable washing line to support new product development. We provided layout adjustments and tailored specifications to fit his facility.
The complete fried corn snack line was finalized and successfully shipped in July. The washing line is currently under production as part of the ongoing partnership.
From their initial visit to the confirmed order and follow-up collaboration, the entire process was smooth and efficient. We appreciate the trust Murat and his team placed in us and look forward to seeing their brand’s products launched in the Turkish market soon.
